Mr. Singer embraces the belief cases are won by planning and preparation. From your initial consultation with Mr. Singer, every client meeting and correspondence is considered preparation for your trial or settlement.
Some lawyers are unable to take a case to trial and win. They may lack the experience or the character to engage in courtroom disputes.
The Law Office of Keith A. Singer offers personally crafted solutions for your family law, divorce law, and child custody law issues. We emphasize quality, efficiency, and personal care.
Mr. Singer’s background and training is in high conflict family law litigation. He is able to take your case, settle if it is in your best interest, and go to trial if that is what it takes to meet your objectives.
Family Law Attorney, Keith A. Singer, was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Arizona and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law.
In May of 1998, Mr. Singer passed the bar and became licensed to practice law in Arizona and the United States District Courts. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Singer spent six years as an associate attorney at two of Southern Arizona’s top family law firms training under some of Arizona’s best family law and domestic relations specialists.
Mr. Singer founded The Law Office of Keith A. Singer in 2003 with a focus on family law and domestic relations. Mr. Singer’s background and experience involves mostly high-conflict family law and juvenile law cases in the Pima County Superior Courts. He has handled numerous cases involving protective orders, and juvenile and adult criminal law.
You + Mr. Singer = Team Effort
Many of Mr. Singer’s cases have gone to trial and many have been settled. While Mr. Singer prefers to resolve cases by settlement when possible, he has always maintained an active trial practice. The majority of his practice at present remains traditional, one party representation in contested family law matters. All of his mediation cases have thus far settled, except a select few which have, inexplicably, resulted in marital reconciliation.
Mr. Singer is highly dedicated to working one-on-one with you to make sure you are ready to settle or to handle the arduous experience of trial.
Preparation is Key
Proper preparation is one of the best and most effective ways to reach a favorable settlement. If settlement is not an option, Mr. Singer will fight to win your trial within the bounds of the Rules of Professional Responsibility for Lawyers.
Having spent many years preparing family law cases for trial and presenting these cases before courts and juries, Mr. Singer has the experience and knowledge to determine which cases are likely to win at trial and which cases are better settled out of court.
If your case is unlikely to win at trial, Mr. Singer will let you know before you spend thousands of dollars on a futile effort. Though not always pleasant to hear, this effort may save you time and money, not to mention months of aggravation.
Court Appointed Advocate
Mr. Singer served for many years as a court appointed parent advocate in the Pima County Juvenile Court and as a child advocate and child’s best interest’s attorney/guardian ad litem in the Pima County Adult and Juvenile Courts.
In addition to representing clients, Mr. Singer is a Pima County superior court appointed parenting coordinator and a superior court appointed family law settlement judge pro tem. He has served as an appointed hearing officer pro tem in the Pima County court, adult family law court, and juvenile court.
Mr. Singer taught for many years as an adjunct instructor at Pima Community College’s paralegal program in the areas of family law, evidence, and legal ethics. He has also presented and coordinated continuing legal education seminars in the areas of family law, juvenile law, and child advocacy. He has participated in collaborative divorce training and the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy.
Extra Curricular Activities
Outside of his family law practice, Mr. Singer is active in his community and spends quality time with his family. He has worked with youth and families since he was a teenager. He was a camp counselor and sailing specialist at children’s summer camps and a sailing instructor at Club Med in the Bahamas.
In 2008, Mr. Singer fulfilled a childhood dream when he took an eight month sabbatical and sailed a 36 foot sailboat from Annapolis, Maryland to the Bahamas. His two golden retrievers enjoyed the trip, too. Today, he still enjoys sailing with his family in the Sea of Cortez.
While no one can predict the outcome of any divorce or legal action, having the right lawyer on your side can help you achieve an outcome that is best for you.
