Mr. Singer embraces the belief cases are won by avoiding trials and hearings and resolving family law matters fairly, efficiently, and lawfully.
Those who litigate family law matters and take them to trial spend thousands upon thousands more than those families committed to settlement from the outset. In addition, the costs of litigating family law cases extend far beyond the financial costs.
The Law Office of Keith A. Singer offers personally crafted solutions for your family law, divorce law, and child custody law issues. We emphasize quality, efficiency, and personal care.
After decades of service as a family and juvenile law trial lawyer, Mr. Singer’s family
law practice now focuses exclusively on settlements of family law matters.
Family Law Attorney Keith Singer was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Arizona and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law.
In May of 1998, Mr. Singer passed the bar and became licensed to practice law in Arizona and the United States District Courts. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Singer spent six years as an associate attorney at two of Southern Arizona’s top family law firms training under some of Arizona’s best family law and domestic relations specialists.
Mr. Singer founded The Law Office of Keith Singer in 2003, with a focus on family law and domestic relations. Mr. Singer has over 25 years of extensive experience in all aspects of family law and juvenile law cases in Arizona Courts. Mr. Singer is also an experienced mediator. As mediator, Mr. Singer can bring family law cases to peaceful and equitable resolution, sparing you from an arduous court trial and wasteful the time and cost of litigation.
You + Mr. Singer = Team Effort
Many of Mr. Singer’s cases have gone to trial and many have been settled. Mr. Singer’s extensive knowledge of the law, earned through over 25 years of experience, allows him to predict, with a high degree of accuracy, the likely outcome of your case if it goes to trial, as well as the best approach to settling your case to avoid a lengthy trial.
Mr. Singer is highly dedicated to working one-on-one with you every step of the way, or with both parties when serving as mediator, from your initial consultation to the drafting and filing of your final documents.
Preparation is Key
Mr. Singer achieves successful outcomes in his family law cases due to meticulous preparation. The Law Office of Keith Singer ensures you are prepared and kept informed every step of the way. Family law cases that are actively settling do not require any litigation, hearings, or trials. All of the decisions are made by the parties and not by others. Hard earned family resources remain with the family instead of being wasted fighting in court.
Having spent many years preparing family law cases for trial and presenting these cases before courts and juries, Mr. Singer has the experience and knowledge to determine which cases are likely to win at trial and which cases are better settled out of court.
If your case is unlikely to win at trial, Mr. Singer will let you know before you spend thousands of dollars on a futile effort. Though not always pleasant to hear, this effort may save you time and money, not to mention months of aggravation.
Court Appointed Advocate
Mr. Singer served for many years as a court appointed parent advocate in the Pima County Juvenile Court and as a child advocate and child’s best interest’s attorney/guardian ad litem in the Pima County Adult and Juvenile Courts.
Teaching Experience
Mr. Singer taught for many years as an adjunct instructor at Pima Community College’s paralegal program in the areas of family law, evidence, and legal ethics. He has also presented and coordinated continuing legal education seminars in the areas of family law, juvenile law, and child advocacy. He has participated in collaborative divorce training and the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy.
Extra Curricular Activities
Outside of his family law practice, Mr. Singer is active in his community and spends quality time with his family. He has worked with youth and families since he was a teenager. He was a camp counselor and sailing specialist at children’s summer camps and a sailing instructor at Club Med in the Bahamas.
In 2008, Mr. Singer fulfilled a childhood dream when he took an eight month sabbatical and sailed a 36 foot sailboat from Annapolis, Maryland to the Bahamas. His two golden retrievers enjoyed the trip, too. Today, he still enjoys sailing with his family in the Sea of Cortez.
